Very noisy on road.
Those tires are great off road and built like any other BFG. However, they are very noisy on road with a lot of play in high speeds. They also seem to wear very quickly.
Good quality
Really good set, durability and grip 100% secure!
Nothing sexier than a new KM2 or KM3 MT
Editor I bough my first set of Mud tyres I did some research as every mate said their tyres were the best 😂 , I found a comparison that included 14 set of tyres including some A/Ts where the KM2 win best overall Mud tyre and the quietest. the day my new 35” km2 went on i realised the comparison was missing a category - “ sexiest mud tyre “ This just absolutely iced the cake for me , if not for my new KM3 I’d still be saying sexiest mud tyre you will ever see” - I subjected my tyres to all the Australian off road fun stuff , brilliant on road and spectacular fun at 14psi wrapping their tread blocks around rocks and ruts like giant vice grips - Hands down the best tyres I’ve owned and worth every cent.
KM2 - not too bad over after 50K
Purchased for 80% dirt driving. Good grip on dry rocky tracks, very good wear and little cuts and chips. Just OK on wet and sloppy. Poor traction on road. Would consider these to be an aggressive All terrain really. Noise was fine, balancing wasn't too bad even when worn. Just made it to 50,000km on a GU Patrol. No punctures.
Best tyres on the market
I have had four sets of bfg ko2 between two cars over the years and they have never let me down. Plenty of grip on the wet roads and plenty of grip on the tracks. Done plenty of beach driving with very low pressures and the side walls just give that extra bit of traction and footprint that a bloke needs. Can handle the constant towing of my boat and trailers on some of the worse highways in Qld.
